Shoot Safety Guidelines for COVID 19
We are living in complex times, I know that safety, health, and
well-being are of the upmost concern for all of us. I know we are all looking
for safe, and reliable ways to get back to being creative and working together.
I want to assure all of you that mitigating risk, and maintaining safety in
regard to COVID-19 on set is something I take very seriously. Commercial photography is often about
problem-solving and creative solutions, and for me this new reality is just
another challenge in that way. I’m continually looking for new and innovative
ways to work and live safely.
I’m personally practicing social distancing, and maintaining
strict personal sanitary and cross-contamination protocols, as prescribed by
the CDC, and WHO. I live alone, I’m tested every two weeks, and will schedule new
tests to correspond with the beginning of production. I will also be getting tested after every
production has wrapped and notifying everybody on the production of the
results.
I am very adept at working with a scaled down crew, since I
work on many shoots alongside broadcast. On many of those productions I was limited
in my crew size and footprint with one DIT/ Assist doing both jobs. I have even
shot a Mercedes advertisement alongside broadcast with no assistant at all for
5 days on location. So, if need be I can work with a pared down crew, or none
at all.
For smaller productions I will be providing disposable
facemasks, and hand sanitizer. Disposable disinfecting wipes will be available,
and commonly used surfaces can be wiped down.
Basic ground rules for set as follows
- Physical contact by crew will be
prohibited.
- Min 6 feet distancing for all crew.
- Everyone’s temperature will be taken upon arrival
All current safety guidelines from them CDC, and WHO will be emailed to my crew prior to shooting and will be available in printed form on set.
- No Large gatherings on set.
- Meals and breaks will be staggered for crew and be packaged individually when possible.
I also have access to my sister and her child (7yr old girl) for use in family shoots.
Please see Family Deck, for current photos of me, my family ,and homes I have access to.
I look forward to working with you, and providing a safe environment for us to be creative. I
am flexible and will find ways to meet you and your clients needs.
